Sample is from subsurface basin of feature, which may indicate last use of feature (sampling toss zone may indicate older use); feature form consistent with similar features from time period (see Nicolaides et al 2009, 2010; Lepofsky and Peacock 2004)

Comments

The area surrounding Feature 1 was not extensively investigated; suface survey and a shovel testing program indicated that this large site also encompasses a very sparse surface and subsurface lithic scatter.
