- The site contained several microblade core tablets, an obsidian fluted point, and an obliquely flaked obsidian lanceolate point base (called a "Bedwell" point). One cultural feature was observed at the site in an area of robust vegetation. This feature consisted of a cluster of eight exposed angular to sub-rounded cobbles/boulders of both the bedrock (schist) and glacially transported materials. These were distributed in a .75 meter (N-S) x .50 meter (E-W) cluster with several more rocks covered by the vegetation mat. A 50 cm2 test pit was excavated in order to collect dateable organic materials (charcoal) which were observed when one of the larger cobbles was removed from its position. A small amount of charcoal was recovered from the northern-central portion of the test pit. The extreme southern end of the test yielded the most abundant and largest pieces of charcoal. An obsidian waste flake was recovered from the southeast quadrant of the test at 5-6 cm. below surface in a charcoal pocket containing the ubiguitous fractured schist and (organic) silt matrix. A few carbonized seed fragments were also observed in a portion of the sample
