- The sample was collected 21 July 2005, from a hearth with five tent rings nearby and if used historically was previously unmentionned by Anaktuvuk Pass Elders. These rings are somewhat incorporated into the surrounding ground surface, and are probably not modern. Claire Alix found no ring curve (November 2005) during charcoal analysis.
