- Described in Vinson's 1993 work: "Faunal specimen from dark brown peat deposit, 0.95 to 1.05 m below surface; caribou antler main beam section, total length = 15.2 cm, diameter = ca. 3.11 cm, weight = 48.6+ g; this item is stained dark brown and is warped and exfoliating; resembles the antler specimen included in FS#25"...and if this is from the same speciment it should date the same. Sample submission sheet notes under evidence of contamination that the bone was "impacted with peat".
