- Comments
- The tent ring feature is composed of 26 stones, which are arranged in a circular to oval pattern measuring 3.5 m in diameter. Two black chert flakes were observed just outside the tent ring, about 1.5 m to its southwest. A check beneath the tent ring rocks revealed charcoal and bone fragments. These were found under a large slab on the south wall of the structure. Bone was preserved beneath the same rock that contained the charcoal. Charcoal taxon ID was submitted by Claire Alix. Minor fungus contamination was noted under initial inspection; the sample was mechanically cleaned before submitting to Beta.
