- BcHa-59, McKean: Situated on a prominent ridge attributed to the mid-Holocene Nipissing transgression, this site contains some of the earliest evidence for fishing in the Great Lakes. The projectile points, similar to the Early Archaic Thebes Cluster in Ohio, imply an age much greater than the date obtained from a radiocarbon sample (TO-6096).
