- ElTb-10, McNaughton Island: This stratified shell midden was excavated in 1972 by J.A. Pomeroy and in 1974 by R.L. Carlson. Carlson mentions radiocarbon dates, citing an unpublished manuscript, but he does not present them. Pomeroy's presentation of some of his dates is very confusing. SFU-27 is presented in a paragraph concerning Zone 5 (p. 289), although its provenience has been identified with Zone 3 (p. 288), and it is later said to date the boundary between zones 3 and 4 (p. 356) or to be in the lower portion of Zone 4 (p. 355). Fauna: Aves: Uria aalge, Larus glaucescens, Rissa tridactyla, Colaptes sp, Corvus brachyrhynchos; Pisces, Oncorhynchus sp, Sebastes sp, Ophiodon elongatus, Gadus macrocephalus, Pleuronectidae, Squalus sp, Hydrolagus sp, Clupea harengus
