- Comments
- AlGo-50, Hibou: This is a late 13th century Early Iroquoian period settlement. Cooper and Savage (1994: 41) note that all faunal material recovered in 1992 from this undisturbed village site was analyzed, but poor preservation left only 25 specimens identifiable to an analytically useful level. Also, the presence of Euro-Canadian domesticates in the A horizon indicates minor Historic period contamination via bioturbation. Five artifacts include a bead and ?awl fragments.
