- Comments
- EdRi-11, Landels: At least three, probably four, components have been recognized. The youngest belongs to the Plateau horizon (2400-1200 BP), and the next oldest represents the Lochnore phase (5500-3500 BP). At the bottom of the latter is a mixture with an early Nesikep period occupation (7500-6000 BP). Beneath a layer of Mazama tephra is the earliest component, representing at least two sparse but discrete occupation episodes with a small assemblage of microblades and a subsistence focus on deer.
