Comments
EcQt-2, Blattner: GaK-1894 is from a burned pole lying along the north wall edge of Housepit 2. The stratum is designated Zone 2, consisting of an organically stained deposit composing the presumedly earliest floor level. It is covered by litter of subsequent occupations. The site lies on a lake terrace about 22 m above the present water-level. The site has three housepits and overlooks a larger open camp with one possible house depression. The latter component lies only about 4 m above the water. Associated artifacts fit what Sanger (1968: 87) has called the Kamloops Phase.
