- DiRj-1, Katz: Of two components, Zone B was located between silt layers resting on river bar deposits and was radiocarbon dated from 2695 to 2475 BP. Hansen interpreted this component as a seasonal food preparation site, with characteristic rock features and large proportions of cortex spall tools, ground slate, cores and abraders. Zone A was somewhat later, dated at 2430 BP. This zone included pithouse remains, with earlier deposits mixed with later artifacts.
