- Sandal fragment (FS485) collected from Stratum IIIi in grid 16R24; the artifact was found in midden debris in the middle of the cave away from the 'pitstructures' associated with Unit III occupancy (see Schroedl and Coulam 1995). Sandal was not identified before its destruction, but likely to have been plain weave given the abundance of this type from the upper levels of early Archaic deposition.
