- DfRu-24, Georgeson Bay: This is a shell midden, about 200 x 120 m, with the earliest levels at 6 m depth, below present high tide. The lower levels relate to the Locarno Beach and Montague Harbour I phases, and the upper levels represent late Developed Coast Salish. D.N. Abbott finds the dates in excellent conformity with others for similar components in the region. Note that the comments on these samples were inadvertently switched with those from the Cadboro Bay site (DcRt-15) and were published that way in the date list (Kigoshi et al., 1973). Wilmeth (1978a: 82) refers to this site as the Tolan's Property site.
