- Comments
- DeRu-VP: The marl enclosing a bison skull contained a pollen assemblage dominated by pine, along with Populus pollen presumed to be from P. tremuloides. The pine zone ends by 11,500 BP in most coastal areas, and the indication of aspen stands suggests similarities to the extant vegetation of the B.C. interior with a cold, dry climate.
