- possible association with a corner-notched projectile point component. Charcoal from Feature 3, an open fireplace of the buried erosion surface present at the site. Evidenced as a circular patch of strong brown oxidized soil beneath a somewhat broader scatter of charcoal. Feature 3 was at the center of an important concentration of chipping debris. Fill of the feature had small frags. of calcined bone. Some charcoal from the feature had been redeposited downslope, and a radiocarbon date was taken from this material as well as from the hearth (redeposited charcoal: 4745 +/-95 RCYBP).
