Context
hearth, square 7S/2E, 15-20 cm depth, on upper of two till units separated by proglacial lake or beach sand. Wood from Hearth A-1, irregularly shaped, oval, steep-sided. It meas. 25 x 32 cm, 10.5 cm deep. The depression may have been natural or man-made. Hearth fill was promarily wood charcoal. Clear to milky-white chalcedony, thought to be Kremmling chrt from the Troublesome Formation in Middle Park occurred in the upper part of the hearth fill. A bifacial knife, utilized flakes, and a Cody Complex proj pt were found at the periphery of the basin.
