- Context
- Slab-lined hearth assigned to Cultural Period III based on the date. Test excavations documented a single subsurface cultural deposit without any stratigraphic separation. The nine C-14 samples from this deposit range from 7800 to 1200 B.P., indicating mixed or poorly differentiated cultural deposits from 6000 years of site use. In lieu of separable cultural strata, the dates were grouped to form 5 cultural periods and artifacts assigned to each.
