Context
A charcoal stained deposit assoc. with a single obsidian overshot flake eroding out of a shallow drainage. Feature meas. ca. 20 cm deep with a jumble of FCR at the S end of the trench that was run through the feature. Remainder of feature was charcoal stained with scattered FCR. To W of trench, the stained deposit gradually pinches out. Eight bone frags, 7 probably from artiodactyls; 1 wild turkey. Four additional flakes, 3 GS frags. and a piece of metal found outside the feature. Not clear as to its identification or use. Radiocarbon table refers to it as an anomaly. No rationale for the piece of metal. Given a credibility level of None because it is not clear whether it is cultural.
