- Context
- Feature 1, a thermal feature, partially exposed in a small rivulet. Slightly bell shaped, round bottom. Meas 56 cm in dia at the surface, 37 cm deep. Fill was FCR, charcoal chunks and a large piece of charred wood. It had a possible clay lining 0.5 - 1.5 cm thick. Not clear if it was an intentional lining or a result of oxidation during use. Only 1 flake found nearby. Interpreted as being related to food preparation, possibly pinyon, given its location (but no charred cone parts/hulls found)
