- Feature 2, a small, badly eroded hearth, 66 x 35 cm in dia., 20 cm deep. Surface of origin probably near present ground surface. Fill was dark gray sand; numerous rootlets. Flotation yielded a stone bead frag., flakes, charred goosefoot, wild sunflower seeds, charred maize cupules and kernes, sagebrush charcoal. C14 sample was stained sediment.
