- Shelter 1, Feature 7, Stratum III. Located immediately below the dripline. It meas. ca. 80 cm in dia., 28 cm deep. The interior and rim were oxidized a bright red; numerous FCRs were removed from the charcoal stained ashy fill. There was an extremely high frequency of Cheno-Am pollen. Macroflorals included only 1 charred frag. of Chenopodium and juniper charcoal.
