- Feature 21, Shelter 3, Stratum K, 242 cmbd. Located in front of the shelter; only partly excavated. Probably oval with a maximum dia. of 45 cm; steep walled, 22 cm deep. Abundant charcoal in the lower fill with 3 pieces of FCR. No oxidation and no artifacts. Greasewood and sagebrush charcoal predominated. A single frag. of a charred starchy plant tissue is interpreted to suggest that the reatune was used for cooking bulbs.
