- "Largest hearth at site. Ceramic fragments of Vessel 1 "attributed to the latter portion of the Late Woodland period, ca. A.D. 1300-1650" - Fragments of Vessel 1 also recovered in Feature 9, and the authors note that the fragments likely made their way to Feature 15 as the result of some sort of disturbance, as the radiocarbon date for Feature 15 is more than 1,000 years earlier than that for Feature 9. Feature 9's radiocarbon date corresponds with what would be expected for the stylistic elements of the ceramic vessel, namely castellation and incised designs, which generally postdate 1350. Calcined bone frags, FCR, various wood species, chert scraper frag, quartzite hammerstone, quartz biface frag, but nothing disgnostic other than afforementioned ceramics from Vessel Lot 1."; Hearth; Report notes "Several other lines of evidence strongly suggest that only the dates from Features 9 and 10 accurately reflect the period of occupation."
