- Charred Wood from Locality A, Feature 1. Wood came from cylindrical roasting pit eroding from what is probably the second terrace. The pit and charcoal-stained surface into which it was excavated are buried to a depth of ca. 230 cm by a terrace fill of layered clays and silts, most of which was probably supplied by a spring just upstream from the site. Submitted by Jim Haug and Mike Fosha, collected August 1993.
