- Comments
- CcCq-3, Jones: This site is stratified and has produced cultural material from the historic to late Palaeoindian periods. Much of the site deposit pertains to late prehistoric occupations, but the basal levels have produced diagnostic Archaic and late Palaeoindian artifacts. S-2844 is from the earliest feature yet found on the site, and it lies at the contact zone between early post-glacial and cultural horizons. Beta-142841 dates a walrus tusk found by Rollie and Jeanette Jones on the beach at the site.
