- Comments
- BlDq-1, Savage Island: Much of the original site is now destroyed through flooding associated with nearby Mactaquac Dam. The site has not been excavated, but it is known to be a multi-component Maritime Woodland site. The sampled pottery exhibits rocker, pseudo-scallop shell decoration. The date falls within the expected age range for Ceramic Period 2, and the pottery compares closely with dated early Maritime Woodland ceramics from the Fulton Island site (BlDn-12, S-1639).
