- wood charcoal from Feature 21 Hearth C, a small, basin-shaped feature that was S and E of Hearth A; similar to Hearth A. Meas 52 x 40 cm, 7 cm deep; contained charcoal and FCR. A large amt of rock surrounded the feature. Identified fuel wood charcoal was juniper, Pinue, and probably Ponderosa. Nearby was a pile of small (2-10 cm in dia.) rocks (discards, not useful because of size?).
