- Comments
- Aasivissuit is interpreted as a major Caribou hunting site. It is uncertain whether date from hunter's bed is associated with paleoeskimo or neoeskimo. Date corresponds to early neo-eskimo occupation phases, but no traces of these earliest neo-eskimo hunters have been found in the midden layers at Aasivissuit.
