Comments
Hunter's Home: This site is located on the Seneca River or a landform rising above Montezuma's Marsh north of Cayuga Lake. It is the type site of Ritchie's late Middle Woodland Hunter's Home phase. Hart et al. (2003) present eight AMS dates on cooking residues that were studied for their phytolith contents to identify the presence of maize, wild rice, and other plants.
