- Charcoal from Feature 122, one of 2 hearths in unit X22. An irregular surface stain. WAs fooound to have a partial rock lining along base on one side. Meas 30 cm deep from the eroded surface. An esolated lens of red burned earth was observed in the E half of the feature, which was overlain and underlain by deposits of charcoal. Fill was dark sediments, charcoal, a substantial number of quartzite flakes and 2 FST frags. Date in Jones 1986a is reported as 6098 +/- 120.
