- Feature 4, first identified as a charcoal stain in the bottom of the backhoe trench, extending into the trench wall, at 55 cm bd. Feature is an unprepared hearth. Meas. 50 cm in dia; only 4-5 cm of fill remained.. A 20 x 20 cm stone lay on top of the charcoal fill.
